Today’s Monday Must-Have is one that I think is an absolute essential in any summer wardrobe, the little white dress! White is one of my very favorite colors to wear,and I love the time of year when it’s time to dig out all of those white summer clothes.

This dress is especially great for a few reasons. First, it’s off the shoulder (which its no secret that it has been my trend of choice this season). Second, the material is super light and billowy, making it an extra comfortable choice for when that temperature starts creeping above about 80 degrees. And third, I love the tie detail on the sleeves, I think it adds a fun feminine touch to such a simple dress. Another great thing about your little white dress is the accessorizing possibilities are endless! Bright colors, pastels, patterns…they all work with white so well and pop beautifully against it. Lovely in Lace

Hi everyone! I just purchased this lovely little lace number last week, and couldn’t wait to share it with all of you. I think the navy and nude combo is absolutely gorgeous. I decided to pair it with a metallic gold strappy sandal, for a little sparkle (gotta have sparkle, right?!). I’m loving the lace on this dress because it reminds me a lot of some of the similar designer numbers that are out right now, but this one had a much better price tag. This is probably one of the more dressier looks I’ve shared so far, so I’d love to hear your thoughts. I actually plan on wearing this outfit to a wedding this upcoming weekend, which I think this dress is perfect for!

Monday Must-Haves: Denim Vest

Today’s Monday Must-Have item is actually one that I’ve only added to my closet within the last year or so, but since I’ve purchased it, I don’t know how I lived without it! A denim vest is an awesome addition to any wardrobe for a few reasons. 1) It’s a great piece to make dresses or outfits a little more casual and laid back 2) It can be used as a great layering piece in any season! I love wearing it over dresses in the summer and over sweaters in the winter. 3) I also love to pair my denim vest with shorts and a simple tee, it adds a unique element to my simple summer uniform

Off The Shoulder Love

Despite all of the studying for my CPA that’s on my plate, I am loving all the sunshine this week! I can’t wait to get outside and hit the pool, run around with Bart (my corgi puppy!) and just enjoy some Vitamin D. Let’s just hope the sunshine is here to stay!

I’m also loving this off the shoulder trend that’s so popular this summer. I actually just got this top a couple of weeks ago, but it seems to already be off the shelves at J.Crew Factory (so I linked some similar items!) Since my first off the shoulder purchase (you can see that post here), I’ve probably bought five more off the shoulder tops and dresses…safe to say I’m obsessed! I’m really liking these block heel sandals I just purchased as well, they’re simple and cute but so comfortable so you can easily wear them while you’re out and about for the day. What are some of your favorite summer trends?
